The diamonds we enhance are mined
from the same mines as any other diamonds.
We simply use the diamonds with small,
visible imperfections and render
these imperfections invisible.
STUDYING THE OCTAHEDRON
The rough diamond must be examined and
studied by an expert to make a plan of the next step
in the cutting process. One possibility would be
sawing the octahedron in half, in order to manufacture
two equal size diamonds.
PLANNING THE DIAMOND
Before polishing the diamond, the expert
cutter has to take into consideration the 4C's
(cut, color, clarity and carat weight).
Many times the cutter must cut a smaller diamond
in order to get maximum value.
HOWEVER, WITH YEHUDA YOU CAN GET
THE BIGGEST POSSIBLE DIAMOND FOR THE SAME
PRICE AS A STANDARD SMALLER DIAMOND.
INCLUSIONS & POLISHING
On the right, in order to get a clean diamond,
the cutter must cut the stone without the inclusion,
thus yielding a very small diamond. On the left,
with Yehuda, we are able to incorporate the inclusion
within the finished diamond.
THUS YEILDING A MUCH LARGER DIAMOND
FROM THE SAME ROUGH STONE.
During the Yehuda clarity enhancement process
we insert a microscopic amount of material into the inclusion,
rendering it invisible to the naked eye. This material
has the same optical properties
as the diamond itself.
Your diamond appears to be cleaner, as the light
travels through the diamond perfectly making
the inclusions no longer visible.
The Yehuda clarity enhancement process
inserts a microscopic amount of a colorless stable material
into the diamond’s inclusion (which is called a feather).
Although the feather is still
technically there, you cannot see it,
and neither can anyone else. Therefore
you can get a much larger and
more beautiful diamond for your money.
